Back to School?! Save your child's back with these backpack tips...
1. No heavier than 5-10% of their body weight.
2. Backpacks shouldn't hang more than 4 inches below your waistline.
3. Small! It gets filled up no matter what size it is.
4. Look for wide, padded, and adjustable straps.
5. Wear the backpack over BOTH shoulders!
6. Keep your back healthy with adjustments from your chiropractor!

Thank you for the great advice about backpack safety. Parents, please remind your child of the importance of good posture and if your child has had a fall, plays contact sports, or complains about neck or back pain, please consult with a Chiropractor. It can make such a world of difference to your child’s health.
